Two New  Assurance Partners at PwC Malta

PwC Malta is proud to celebrate the appointment of Ian Curmi and Christopher Cardona as Assurance partners. These admissions have taken effect on 1st January 2021.These individuals bring years of professional experience and expertise gathered from delivering projects all over the world.

Ian Curmi

Ian Curmi

Ian joined the firm in 2007 at the PwC London office whilst reading for the Associate Chartered Accountancy (ACA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Ian also completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from the University of Malta and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Ian spent two years at PwC's New York office before joining PwC Malta in 2012, where he started specialising in the iGaming sector. Ian is PwC Malta's recognised iGaming industry champion. He services, from an assurance standpoint, a varied portfolio of clients most of which operate in the iGaming sector. 

Christopher Cardona

Christopher Cardona

Chris Cardona joined the firm in 2008 after having read for Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) degrees at the University of Malta. He has a special interest in the insurance sector and over the years Chris has gained extensive experience in this field, servicing a varied portfolio of both local and international insurers on assurance, regulatory and advisory assignments. Chris is PwC's insurance industry champion in Malta and his local experience was complemented with a short-term secondment to PwC Sydney's financial services team. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant, holding a practicing certificate in auditing, and is a fellow member of the Malta Institute of Accountants, where he is also actively involved in the financial services committee.
