The Attorneys Association “PwC Legal” in Ukraine enhances its Commercial Litigation practice by adding new members to the team.
On the 1st of September, Sergii Papernyk, Maryna Pavlenchyk and Lidiia Zhovtiak joined the team to form the cornerstone of the new Commercial Litigation branch.
This branch is to be led by Sergii Papernyk, who brings with him 12 years of experience in litigation within various business sectors. In particular, Sergii specializes in litigation support in the areas of banking and finance law, real estate, land relations, labour disputes, as well as corporate protection and corporate conflict resolution. He also has considerable experience in the areas of investment support and corporate structuring.
Sergii’s background includes working in the legal departments of major international banks, and over the past two years he was a member of the litigation team at one of Ukraine’s leading law firms.
Over the past year, Sergii: successfully represented the interests of a group of heavy industry companies in a court proceeding against a banking institution; assisted in the resolution of a conflict between shareholders of a leading chemical company; defended the interests of a group of land plot owners against a law suit over land tenure; and assisted in resolving a conflict between a developer of a residential complex and various representatives of public organizations.

At the same time, our team has also been working regularly on major commercial litigation projects. For this reason, we made the decision to spin off commercial litigation into a separate division which is to be led by Sergii”.
The litigation team of AA “PwC Legal” is comprised of lawyers and attorneys-at-law who possess considerable experience in assisting clients with regards to the timely prevention and efficient resolution of issues caused by commercial disputes and tax raids.
