Exemptions from customs duties for private vehicles will be introduced

The President of Ukraine signed the Laws of Ukraine № 1402-IX and № 1403-IX (hereinafter - the "Laws") that enter into force on 15 June and exempt from import duties private vehicles which were imported to the customs territory of Ukraine before 31 December, 2020.
This procedure will be valid for 180 days from the date of its entry into force. For ATO/JFO participants the validity period is up to 270 days.
Exemptions will NOT be applied to the vehicles that:
- originate from the aggressor-state or imported from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine
- do not meet the environmental standards of "Euro-2" and above
- have 5 and more years from the date of their manufacture
- are designed for transportation of 10 persons and more
- are motorcycles, mopeds and bicycles.
