At PwC we like and have always eagerly awaited the winter festive season to thank and share the joy of gifting with our clients, partners, and friends. Today we THANK ALL UKRAINIANS, each of whom continues to fight his or her own battle, bringing our country closer to Victory. We stepped into this year without traditional gifts, but with the feeling of deepest appreciation in our hearts instead. The right thing to express our gratitude is to make donations to support Ukraine and its people.
Therefore, this time, PwC Ukraine Partners have decided to channel their gratitude through the United24 platform.
Ago Vilu: “PwC has supported Ukraine and helped its people from the first days of the full-scale war. A lot of aid has been provided by our CEE and EMEA offices; the aid has come through our network around the globe, having exceeded USD 5 million. I am proud that my Partners stand united in their readiness supporting the people of Ukraine on a regular basis.”
Dmytro Nechytailo: “Since the onset of the war, PwC has stood firm in condemning the war and attracting funds and resources to support Ukraine. Together with my Partners in Ukraine we have chosen our path to support our country by contributing to the initiative of the President of Ukraine. This is our respect for everyone who, in their own role, fights with all their might to help Ukraine not only survive but also thrive moving forward.”
Oleksiy Katasonov: “Over the last 10 months of full scale war, our team has invested many hours pro bono, working on a post-war recovery plan for Ukraine. Many, if not all members of the team, volunteered in various initiatives all across Ukraine. But to accelerate the joyful day of our Victory, the bright minds of our legal and tax experts alone are not enough at this stage. We have to help across every direction, including making donations.”
Olena Volkova: “I was taught this as a child and I continue teaching my own children the same: one cannot measure their gratitude in money. And yet, in the current circumstances, I believe that the responsible business’ gratitude and support to our state must also include a monetary component. Each hryvnia matters, as long as it is spent meeting the Ukrainian people’s needs. I am proud to be Ukrainian and to be able to make my personal contribution on behalf of PwC Ukraine.”
Lyudmyla Pakhucha: “Every individual and every business need to do everything in their power to support our defenders and to bring the Victory closer.”
Maxim Vykhovanets: “A contribution to United24 is an opportunity to say “Thank you” and to demonstrate the power of our trust in the strength and undeniable courage of Ukrainians. Those of you working in energy, agriculture, logistics, metals, mining, telecom, IT, food industries - all of you withstand any challenges and inspire to invest in our shared future even more.”
Maksym Dudnyk: “Being a Partner means that you should not limit yourself by private initiatives aimed at bringing the Victory сloser, but should also consider possibilities on how your business may contribute towards it. At PwC we aimed our help into two areas: making donations and assisting our clients to battle with the hottest business challenges so that businesses are able to focus on the core - uninterrupted production, supply chain recovery etc.”
