Managing Partner

Jiří Moser has been the Managing Partner of PwC in the Czech Republic since April 2010. By appointing the first Czech in history in this position, the company has demonstrated its long-term commitment to providing the highest quality services not only to international corporations, but also to local Czech companies. Prior to his appointment as Managing Partner, Jiří Moser was the Leading Partner for Advisory Services in PwC. He will continue to hold this position as well.

Jiří Moser has devoted his whole professional career so far to PwC. He started in 1994 in Assurance Services in then-Coopers & Lybrand. His internship in the London office of PwC UK was one of the reasons that lead him to gradually shift his focus towards advisory services in the area of risk management and performance improvement. In 2001, he became a Partner in Corporate Performance Improvement in the Czech Republic and two years later, he became Corporate Performance Improvement Leader for Central and Eastern Europe. In 2006, he was appointed Advisory Services Leader in the Czech Republic.

Jiří Moser holds a doctorate from the School of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, in the area of physical processes modelling (1993). He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a certified information systems auditor (CISA). Jiří Moser is married and has three children. He likes to spend his spare time with his family and also enjoys travelling and sports. He has also had a life-long interest in Asian cultures and martial arts.

Miroslav BratrychMiroslav Bratrych

Advisory Services Leader

Miroslav Bratrych, partner, leads the Transactions business of PwC in the Czech and Slovak Republics. He is primarily responsible for corporate finance, valuations and due diligence work for strategic and private equity investors. His transaction expertise avers number of industries, such as automotive industry, energetics, heavy machinery, construction, petrochemicals and others.

Miroslav has worked with PwC for 16 years and have significant experience in assisting foreign investors during acquisitions of Czech targets as well as assisting Czech companies in their expansion across the CEE.

Clients highly value his commercial approach to transactions, awareness of industry issues as well as my technical expertise covering whole transaction process – from initial bid to finalizing share purchase agreement. Miroslav's recent experience includes the lead advisory mandates for Penta Investments on disposal of manufacturers of electric motors and generators TES Vsetin and MEZservis (transaction signed with Advent International ) as well as the mandate to sell the car spare part retail chain Auto Kelly to Rhiag group. Miroslav was recently named “Advisor of the Year” by Advent International in CEE in 2010.

Miroslav is married and has three children. His main interests are history and sport.

Assurance Services Leader

Věra Výtvarová has worked in PwC since 1994. She joined the company right after her graduation at Prague Economic University. She is a member of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Great Britain (ACCA). She is the leading partner of Family business services in PwC Czech Republic.

Věra is married and has two children. She is a proud sponsor of the National theatre and is one of the 25 Women in Czech Business (awarded by Hospodářské noviny daily).

Peter ChrenkoPeter Chrenko

Tax and Legal Services Leader

Peter Chrenko has more than twenty years of experience in tax advisory in addition to his extensive understanding of the corporate side in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.

Nowadays Peter is a partner in the area of tax dispute support, tax administration and tax policy in PwC Czech Republic. He came to PwC from the Ministry of Finance where he was Deputy Minister for taxes and duties for three years.

Before going to the ministry, he was a tax partner and a leading partner in Ernst & Young Slovakia. He graduated from the faculty of International law at the Institute of International relations in Moscow.

Peter is married and has two children. He devotes his free time to family and sport.
