For yet another year, we supported the BOV Volleyball Marathon in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, now in its 16th edition. This established event continues to unite the community behind a meaningful cause, raising awareness and support for an organisation whose work makes a real difference in the lives of people with disability.

For the second year, apart from our usual monetary donation, our internal Marketing & Communications team contributed to the initiative through branding, graphic design, and promotional materials, helping to create a clear and consistent visual identity across the event’s communications. This support was aimed at strengthening the marathon’s visibility and ensuring its message reaches the public in a cohesive and effective way.

M&C support

The Volleyball Marathon is more than a sporting event. It is a strong example of how collective effort can generate positive social impact, while drawing attention to the important work carried out by Id-Dar tal-Providenza. At PwC Malta, we take pride in supporting an initiative such as this, that not only raises funds but also reinforces the value of community solidarity and shared responsibility.

Lucienne Pace Ross, our Territory Senior Partner, highlighted the importance of this commitment.

Dar tal providenza

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not simply about financial contributions, but about recognising that businesses have a wider role to play in the communities in which they operate.

She emphasised that organisations such as PwC also have a responsibility to use their expertise, resources, and people to support initiatives that improve lives and strengthen society.

At PwC Malta, CSR is embedded in the way we work. Supporting community initiatives means applying our professional capabilities in practical ways that can help organisations such as id-Dar tal-Providenza and meaningful events such as the volleyball marathon, communicate more effectively, build awareness, and engage broader audiences.

We look forward to seeing the ongoing success of the marathon and the positive impact it generates for Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
