Employees come first
Employee care is crucial for us. From recruitment, where we try to find the most suitable team members for our colleagues, through helping newcomers integrate in our teams, to taking care of their career direction, competence development and compensation set-ups and benefits. We support PwC teams as their HC business partner – we provide them with consulting on labour topics, HC controlling, or the area of wages and benefits. We focus on the development of our people, on talents acquisition and their satisfaction in the company, or on the support of development of our company and colleagues. We deal with the organisation and setting of training programmes, help our internal lecturers, build relationships with the external ones, and build a community offering our colleagues a wide range of personal development opportunities. Many amazing people work at PwC and that’s why we help them promote their work even outside our company. We cooperate with universities and support our colleagues who teach there, we ensure the accreditation of new disciplines and minor specialisations, and we hold events and competitions.
We welcome new colleagues interested in the HR area who wish to gain experience from our international environment.
We write the story of our brand and create opportunities
To be seen and heard. Our Marketing & Communications and Business Development team helps strengthen the PwC brand on the market and thus contributes to bringing new business opportunities. Our work includes just about everything you can imagine by the word “marketing” in a B2B environment: marketing campaigns, external as well as internal communication, events, graphic outputs, employer branding and business development – we handle all of that. We make sure everyone knows what PwC creates and who creates PwC. In the media, on social networks, through training events held at PwC directly – in our Czech offices as well as abroad.
Whether you are an experienced professional or you are just learning about this field, you can count on the full support from our colleagues and on being involved in some interesting projects. Our team welcomes organised, positive and creative colleagues who intend to improve their skills and grow, and who can work hard, yet have fun afterwards.
We ensure a pleasant work and business environment
PwC could hardly do without our colleagues from Operations. The thing is, they handle the operation and internal services of all our offices. Their agenda involves the slightest little things as well as complex projects, thanks to which they create an ideal work environment for everyone at PwC. This involves ensuring a clean work environment, technical revisions, equipment of our offices and meeting rooms, taking care of the plants, document archiving or ordering of office accessories. This team is also responsible for huge projects, such as moving our entire offices, which has been done successfully several times, or for the architectural redesign of new or existing premises. These premises include even the reception desk that serves as the place of the first contact between clients and candidates; that’s why we make sure that the first impression from visiting a PwC office is truly professional.
We help set rules and adhere to them
In any of our activities we ensure the compliance with the requirements of applicable legal regulations. Besides legislation, we most adhere to the principles defined by the Code of Conduct of Auditors and Accountants and by a number of other professional codes.
Our Compliance team provides internal support in terms of auditor independence and risk management, including compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of personal data privacy or anti-money laundering regulations. Within our activities, we participate in the setting of internal processes, creation of internal rules and, last but not least, we monitor any amendments to legislation.
Our Compliance team is certainly not a closed environment – our colleagues cooperate with other teams on the regional as well as global level within the PwC network, and they participate in the testing of new internal databases and systems from the perspective of compliance and risk management. Due to this, English is of high importance to us; we welcome detail-oriented candidates with strong communication skills who want to keep growing and learning about our field.
We ensure quality IT equipment and its efficient functioning
Our work is crucial for new employees joining our company. The thing is, we prepare all HW equipment and the necessary accesses for smooth integration of newcomers into our work process. From computers or iPhones through to monitors or keyboards. Moreover, we provide assistance to all our employees whenever they deal with unexpected IT issues or enquiries. Simply said, our colleagues couldn’t do without our help. We form a part of the CEE region IT team and the cooperation with foreign PwC offices allows us to continuously learn new skills and gain experience. That’s why we cooperate in various projects that support our colleagues and make their work more efficient; from automation through server management to website creation. We welcome new colleagues who are passionate about our work. We teach our junior colleagues all they need to know and provide help to the more experienced ones. No need to worry – we don’t work at weekends.
Making sure that financial issues are accurate and efficient is our field of expertise
Being a consulting company, PwC helps its clients to keep their financial issues accurate, efficient and enables the companies to work properly and reach the set profit. As a matter of course, this needs to be dealt with even internally, and that’s why we have our internal finance team. Internal finance team takes care of everything concerning accounting, reporting, and monitoring and interpretation of results. Our payroll department is a part of that.
We look for new colleagues with a degree in economics, good English and systematic skills, a sense of responsibility, and a positive approach to IT systems. What we offer in return is the possibility of career growth, gaining experience from a global company, and, obviously, a friendly team that’s willing to help.
We ensure technology security to all PwC employees globally
