Anthony is the PwC Mauritius Country Senior Partner and EMA (East Market Area) Deputy Regional Senior Partner. He is a regular speaker and contributor to tax and economic forums. He leads PwC’s budget campaign and provides our overall opinion on the budget exercise. His experience spans tax, corporate finance and audit, with an innovative approach driving growth.

Dheerend has the responsibility of commenting the fiscal policy in the yearly budget exercise. Through his “Tax Perspective” section, he shares PwC's views as to how the tax measures announced will impact the economy. As Tax Leader for PwC, he provides advice on both domestic and international tax issues, amongst others and supervises compliance work for corporate clients.

Jean-Pierre provides the PwC Mauritius comments on measures announced in the ICT sector. He has led several transformation projects across public and private sectors and is specialised in payments and innovative technology. He is the Workforce Transformation Leader, Chief Innovation Officer and PwC Africa Information Protection Leader.

Olivier advises several businesses, including those in the Real Estate and Agri-Business sectors. He specialises in acquisition financing, refinancing, restructuring and managing distressed assets, amongst others. He heads the Transactions team at PwC Mauritius and his experience spans capital raising, debt restructuring, M&A, transaction advisory and valuations.

Rajeev is the Public Sector Leader. He provides advisory services in respect of restructuring, cross-border and insolvency matters. He is also a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and regularly takes appointments with local regulators and banking institutions. Within PwC Mauritius, he is the Deals Leader and a Business Recovery Services & Forensics Partner.

John leads Financial Services practice and drives the Asset Management Industry Group. He provides comments on financial services measures announced in the Budget. Within PwC, he provides Assurance services to local and multinational companies and contributes to the firm’s technical work on financial instruments. He is also involved in delivering Assurance methodology and IFRS training.

Julien heads our Risk Assurance Services department and the sustainability practice for PwC Mauritius. He has over 20 years of professional experience and has been an Internal Auditor for 15 years. He has worked at Audit Committee and Board level for large multinational organisations across various industries.

Ashveen is the Managing Director of PwC Legal (Mauritius) Ltd, an independent law firm. He will comment on the reforms affecting the legal landscape. His practice focuses on commercial and tax litigation, corporate and transactional, mergers and acquisitions, financial services and capital markets. He is also active in the emerging field of fintech and cybersecurity.
