Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance & safeguards at PwC Malaysia

Effective 17 May 2022

PwC Malaysia (PwC) has implemented a number of safeguards to minimise the risks on our employees, clients and communities arising from the COVID-19 health pandemic. We have been complying strictly with the guidance from the Malaysian Government and health authorities.

We have taken into consideration the Government’s directives and the need for us to regain some normalcy. From 17 May 2022 onwards, all PwC offices will be allowed to be operational at 100% capacity with our employees primarily working from the office, be it PwC’s or client’s site. As part of our flexSpace Reimagined initiatives, our employees will be able to decide where to work and how to work - guided by business needs, clients expectations and personal preference. The experience of the pandemic has strengthened our belief that trust and digital enablement are key to sustaining collaboration and being able to continue delivering outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

Employees working from the office, be it PwC’s or client’s site will need to be fully vaccinated and adhere to strict health and safety protocols. This includes a mandatory weekly COVID-19 RTK Antigen self-test prior to entering PwC or client offices.

PwC’s safeguards:

Working with clients to safeguard the health and safety of our people

PwC requests our clients to take their own measures to respond to COVID-19, in accordance with guidelines from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and Malaysia National Security Council (MKN). If you are an organisation with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 and PwC clients or employees may be affected, we ask that you immediately notify your preferred PwC contact.

All visitors are required to be fully vaccinated to enter our office premises and must complete a COVID-19 RTK Antigen self-test.
