From 1 September, six employees will take up director positions at PwC Hungary. Anna Borbély, Marianna Gódor and Beáta Lénárd-Bujnóczki will take on new leadership roles in Tax and Legal Services, Norbert Madar and Gábor Oltyán in Business Advisory, and Dániel Nagy in Cybersecurity Advisory.
Anna Borbély currently leads one of the VAT advisory teams in PwC Hungary’s Indirect Taxes group. She mainly works on VAT and tax support for the automation of financial processes. She works with Hungarian and multinational clients across several industries, with a particular focus on the energy and real estate sectors.
She earned her law degree from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2014. She worked for three years at a law firm specialising in tax matters, then joined PwC Hungary in 2017. She is also a certified accountant and tax adviser. She most enjoys spending her free time with her family and young son, and she also likes cooking.
Beáta Lénárd-Bujnóczki has worked in direct tax advisory for more than 15 years. She has supported Hungarian and international clients and led numerous projects related to transactions, structuring, tax due diligence and tax incentives. For the past year, she has led the Deals Tax team within the corporate tax business. During her career, she coordinated the work of the global leader of PwC International Tax Services for a year and a half, and previously worked as a direct tax lead on a client-side secondment. Talent development and building a supportive team culture are important to her, and she has taken a leadership role in several people-focused initiatives. As a director, she will work on developing Deals Tax services, strengthening collaboration within the Deals team, and supporting a people-centred approach.
She earned a degree in business economics from Corvinus University of Budapest. She spent a year at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where, inspired by a PwC lecturer, she joined the firm as an intern. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, walking sections of Hungary’s National Blue Trail, and discovering new places during trips abroad.
Marianna Gódor earned a degree in economics from the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy of Budapest Business University in 2004, then joined PwC’s accounting and tax compliance services business in 2010. She holds certified accountant, IFRS certified accountant and tax adviser qualifications.
For more than fifteen years, she has supported Hungarian and international clients. She has contributed to the development of the service area’s operations and to the implementation of strategic and transformation initiatives. As a director, she is partly responsible for leading the accounting services area and also plays a key role in transformation projects. In her free time, she recharges through reading, travelling, spending time in nature, cooking, and inspiring conversations.
Norbert Madar joined PwC Hungary in 2024 through the acquisition of GKID, which he co-founded and led. He leads PwC’s digital commerce advisory team. He has worked in e-commerce, parcel logistics, and digital markets for more than 16 years. As a director, he supports leading retail, manufacturing, logistics and digital services companies in the CEE region in strategic, business development and research projects. Within PwC, he also participates in regional consumer market initiatives and regularly appears in the media and at professional events.
He is behind Hungary’s leading e-commerce research series and its first public e-commerce ranking. He is also actively involved in the work of several major industry and professional organisations. His work is characterised by innovation, in-depth market knowledge and a client-centred approach.
Dániel Nagy will become one of the leaders of PwC’s Central and Eastern European cybersecurity advisory team as a director, with primary responsibility for the region’s business performance and growth. His main areas are enterprise resilience and complex international projects related to cybersecurity. He has worked in cybersecurity, technology transformation, and business development for more than 12 years. During his career, he has supported numerous organisations worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies and government institutions, from Canada through Switzerland and the Middle East to the United States.
His areas of expertise include the development of cybersecurity strategies and governance systems, major security transformations, and the implementation of cybersecurity operating models. He gained international and public-sector experience, among other places, in the United States Congress in Washington, D.C. In his free time, he enjoys travelling with his wife and young daughter; he is also interested in stock market investments and likes mechanical watches.
Gábor Oltyán is an economist and computer mathematician. He began working in business intelligence in 2000. Since then, he has participated in or led nearly 250 successful artificial intelligence projects on three continents, from Seattle to Kuala Lumpur. He joined PwC’s technology advisory team when Data Solutions Kft., which he led, was acquired in 2018. In recent years, he has led data engineers, data scientists and generative AI engineers, and contributed to the development of the Data & AI Platform.
As a director, he works on developing AI implementation capabilities, retaining domestic positions, and strengthening regional roles. He spends his free time with his family, creates visual content and teaches the next generations of AI professionals at university.
