Creating a Future-Ready Startup Ecosystem

ACE Position Paper: Creating a Future-Ready Startup Ecosystem

As Singapore continues to grow as a hub for Innovation, its dedication to entrepreneurship has resulted in more local start-ups entering the playing field. This, coupled with foreign start-ups, choosing Singapore as its base has brought about increased scrutiny to the ecosystem.

In collaboration with the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), the nation's start-up trade association, PwC Singapore's Venture Hub has set forth a snapshot of the current state of the start-up ecosystem and has put forward a series of strategic recommendations to the government for consideration to further enhance the vibrancy of the ecosystem.

The position paper covers three key areas - Improving Market Access, Realising Talent Opportunities and Accelerating Funding, takes into consideration the thoughts, proposals and opinions of all stakeholders including start-ups founders, investors, Government agencies and MNC's.

PwC Singapore's Venture Hub work closely with start-up founders, entrepreneurs, Institutes of Higher Learning, incubators and accelerators and other stakeholders covering topics such as strategic growth, fundraising support and championing many initiatives that are available to start-ups through its variety of programs and services.
