Yasuyuki Iwasaki

Yasuyuki Iwasaki mainly engages in M&A, corporate law, group restructuring, and joint venture structuring, both domestic and cross-border. He also has extensive experience in government and public sector support, corporate governance and compliance and corporate crisis management, particularly regarding corporate accounting fraud. From 1998 to 2002, prior to his legal career, he worked as a CPA for a major international accounting firm where he gained experience in accounting audits for listed companies as well as in M&A transactions from an accounting perspective. From 2006 to 2014, he worked as a lawyer for one of the largest law firms in Japan handling M&A transactions, complex general corporate matters related to legal, accounting and tax issues, and corporate crisis management regarding accounting and tax disputes and litigation. Subsequently, he worked for both the legal and business development departments of a Japan-headquartered global company where he handled M&A transactions from the legal, accounting, and business perspectives.
