2024 New Year greetings

With respect to the global situation in 2024, the turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is subsiding. However, economic uncertainties, as well as other concerns at the global level, such as the impact of climate change and geopolitical risks, are expected to persist.

At PwC, we believe that the various problems facing the world today are rooted in megatrends that endure for decades at a time. ‘Climate change’, ‘Technological disruption’, ‘Demographic shifts’, ‘Fracturing world’ and ‘Social instability’. These five events occur simultaneously and affect one another.

Can your company sustain self-motivated change for decades, not only when your company faces an actual crisis, but also in any economic or social environment, for crises not yet seen? Companies must be questioned about their stances.

Based on our global strategy, ‘The New Equation’, PwC has set it as our goal to help our clients redefine their organisations and the way they do business in accordance with changing times. We believe this will lead them to achieve sustainable growth by generating sufficient value for their customers, for their people and against capital, and to continue to be trusted.

Social expectations are always changing. We always look back with humble and objective reflection, and with guidance from a wide range of stakeholders, we will continue to pursue our Purpose, ‘to build trust in society and solve important problems’.
