Hwee Seng Lim

Hwee Seng is a Tax Partner with the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) tax team of PwC Singapore.

Hwee Seng specialises in taxation matters relating to M&A. In an M&A transaction, he helps uncover tax exposures and manages the buyer's risks by recommending appropriate actions to take in their negotiation or post-deal. He also advises the buyer on the best acquisition structure and identify opportunities to optimise their tax position. Hwee Seng works closely with strategic, financial and private equity buyers to acquire targets in a wide range of industries. He has led and coordinated numerous M&A projects across the Asia Pacific region.

Hwee Seng has prior experience of leading a tax due diligence in Myanmar and is now managing the Myanmar tax desk. He advises multi-national companies that are interested in investing in Myanmar.

Hwee Seng is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and an Accredited Tax Advisor with the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals.
