The State Investment Corporation Ltd (“SIC”) act as the investment’s arm of the Government of Mauritius and intends to divest its holdings in casino companies in Mauritius. The Casinos are holder of a casino licence issued by the Gambling Regulatory Authority (“GRA” ). There are four operational casinos and two non operational casinos.
The services of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd have been retained to assist SIC to divest its stakes in the casinos, which are strategically located across the island.
