This training offers a deep dive into the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, equipping participants with a solid understanding of the global baseline for sustainability-related reporting. The session covers IFRS S1 – General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information, which establishes the framework for disclosing material information on sustainability-related risks and opportunities across the value chain. It also explores IFRS S2 – Climate-related Disclosures, the first thematic standard that sets out requirements for reporting on climate-related risks and opportunities. Together, these standards provide a comprehensive structure for transparent, decision-useful reporting that meets the expectations of investors and other stakeholders.
