Confirmation of Coronavirus Infection in PwC Japan Group

On September 29th, PwC Tax Japan confirmed that two employees had been infected with the new coronavirus.

The infected employees were found to have participated in the same meal on September 18. We are conducting an investigation regarding the recent activities of those who are infectious and other employees who attended the meal and their close contacts under guidance from the relevant health center. 

Since early March, PwC Japan group has been implementing various measures based on government policies, such as telecommuting, voluntary restraints on business trips, and cancellation or postponement of events. We will continue to place a top priority on ensuring the safety of our clients, our employees and other stakeholders and on preventing the spread of infections.

On September 30th, PwC Tax Japan confirmed that one employee had been infected with the new coronavirus. The employee was confirmed to have participated in the same meal (above) on September 18.
