Confirmation of Coronavirus Infection in PwC Advisory LLC

On September 1st, PwC Advisory LLC confirmed that one employee had been infected with the new coronavirus.
The employee has been working from home since August 25th and has not visited our offices or any client offices since that time. We are conducting an investigation regarding the recent activities of the employee and the employee’s close contacts under guidance from the relevant health center.
Since early March, PwC Japan group has been implementing various measures based on government policies, such as telecommuting, voluntary restraints on business trips, and cancellation or postponement of events. We will continue to place a top priority on ensuring the safety of our clients, our employees and other stakeholders and on preventing the spread of infections.
