Profile

Hiroshi Takagi is the leader of our financial services and real estate tax practice in PwC Tax Japan and he is also the leader of the real estate sector for PwC Japan.

Hiroshi joined PwC Tax Japan in 2001 and has extensive experience in working with financial institutions and real estate firms to invest inbound into the Japanese financial and real estate market as well as working with domestic financial institutions and real estate firms to invest outbound.

Before Hiroshi joined PwC, he worked at the Japanese bank and the US based investment bank and participated in establishing a real estate management company.

Hiroshi graduated from the University of Tokyo and the University of Chicago graduate school of business. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Japan and the US and a licensed Japanese certified public tax consultant. He also holds CFA of Japan and US as well.

Project Results and Achievements

Hiroshi specializes in Japanese cross-border structuring and financing issues for financial institutions, real estate companies, and investment funds. He has advised in a wide range of international tax planning areas, including international operational structuring, withholding tax planning, foreign tax minimization and foreign tax credit planning.
