Hidenori Shibata focuses on domestic and cross-border corporate matters, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He also advises on financial regulatory compliance and legal issues arising from blockchain technology, including cryptoassets and NFTs.
Following approximately three years with Nishimura & Asahi, a leading Japanese law firm, he joined PwC Legal Japan in 2016. His experience includes a secondment to the legal department of a major domestic securities company and hands-on involvement with a startup company.
