Abhishek brings over 18 years of strong Transfer Pricing (TP) and Tax consultancy experience. Started his career with PwC and has been a part of PwC Singapore and India practices, including strengthening the TP practice of emerging growth markets (viz Bangladesh).​

His client portfolio includes world’s biggest Groups involved in upstream and downstream activities, including NOCs, Trading houses and Service companies in the energy space, and involving optimisation structures, proprietary and asset-based trading, as well as supply and marketing.

He acts as a “sounding board” to clients in developing strategies to achieve the designated business goals in line with economic developments via:

• revision in TP policies for aligning it with the commercial behaviour
  restructuring of business and operations with the changing dynamics of global trade
• implementing RHQ structures and developing substance reviews and validations
• Abhishek also brings extensive experience in implementing the TP dispute resolution strategies for availing tax certainties for his clients utilising the Bilateral/ Unilateral Advance Pricing Arrangements (BAPA) and/or via Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP), as available under the DTA's.

In the recent past, Abhishek was the Deputy Head of India Desk in PwC Singapore. He supported companies' growth agenda in the region. His mandate was to help cross border pollination of companies on the Singapore – India economic corridor. He has also supported clients on wider tax matters - entry strategy, form of presence or structure, funding alternatives, repatriation, exits, and more. Driven by solution-oriented approach, he has successfully collaborated with clients on commercial and operational matters beyond tax, instituting solutions to their business challenges.​

Abhishek is a frequent speaker and knowledge partner to various industry bodies and business associations, such as Tax Academy of Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, Singapore India Chamber of Commerce and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (SG-Chapter).
