Shiro Sawa started his career in 1998 at a major Japanese bank, where he was engaged in corporate finance. He has been engaged in M&A advisory services for 18 years since 2000 and has advised clients in both the consumer and retail industry and the private equity (PE)/financial institution industry on various types of transactions at a major international accounting firm and an M&A boutique firm. He also has experience in key management roles at a listed retail company for four years. Most recently, prior to joining PwC Advisory LLC, he was a managing director at a major financial advisory services company.
He received a Bachelor of Law from Doshisha University.
