IFRS updates workshop

Voon Hoe leads the Accounting, Financial Reporting and Corporate Treasury advisory services in Singapore with over 30 years of experience. He provides finance and accounting solutions pursuant to a number of reporting frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP and various local GAAPs across Asia. In addition, he has advised on a number of complex billion-dollar transactions in raising capital and mergers and acquisitions. He is currently a member of PwC’s Global Banking Industry Accounting Group and the chair of ISCA’s IFRS 9 working group.

Senthil is a Partner from the Corporate Reporting Services in PwC Singapore with over 20 years working experience. He has extensive practical experience across complex IFRS financial reporting and specialises in GAAP conversions and technical accounting advice He is the Financial Instruments topic team leader for Singapore and serves as the key technical partner for a number of assurance engagements in the financial services sectors: banks, insurance companies and fund managers. He also performs various trainings on current accounting topics, and has experience designing and managing highly participative IFRS training programmes.

Zen Yun is an audit partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and has extensive experience in auditing a broad range of Technology, Entertainment and Media companies. As the Accounting Technical Leader of PwC Singapore, Zen Yun leads a team of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) specialists in Singapore Being active within the accounting profession, she is currently serving on the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) Financial Statements Review Committee in Singapore and speaks frequently at seminars organised by the various accounting professional bodies. Zen Yun is also a practising member of the ISCA and Fellow of CPA Australia.

Lay Hsiah is a senior manager with over 15 years of professional experience in the accounting and auditing field. She is a member of PwC Corporate Reporting Services team and provides technical support on various complex issues. She is a member of the PwC Global network of IFRS specialists and is part of the PwC’s global working groups on climate change and sustainability reporting. She conducts trainings on IFRS accounting and sustainability-related topics. She is also involved in the development of thought leadership relating to sustainability and accounting topics.
