SkillsFuture Queen Bee programme with PwC Singapore

Following the courses, our mentorship projects offer hands-on support to implement the foundational learnings. Over three months, you will assess your company’s sustainability needs, identify key areas for improvement, and, with guidance from our experienced professionals, undertake a project to tackle your top sustainability concerns.

Queenbee programme pathway

Participation in courses is not a prerequisite for engaging in a mentorship project.

Funding is available for mentorship projects - please refer to individual topic pages for details.

Programme details

Course eligibility for individuals

You are eligible for the courses if you are a: 

  • Singapore Citizen, 

  • Singaporean Permanent Resident, or 

  • holder of Long-Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+)

The above trainees would be eligible for a 70% course fee grant and would only need to pay the net amount after deductions. 

Trainees are allowed to fund their course participation using opening SkillsFuture credits in their account ($500). 

Trainees can also get up to 90% subsidy provided that they are Singapore citizens and meet on of the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Long-term unemployed individuals (unemployed ≥ 6 months) 

  • Individuals in need of financial assistance – ComCare, Short-to-Medium Term Assistance (SMTA) recipients or Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) recipients

  • Persons with Disabilities 

Mentorship project funding eligibility

SMEs are eligible for a 90% subsidy of mentorship project fee, capped at S$30,000 per project.  

  • SMEs are companies that are registered or incorporated in Singapore, with at least 30% local shareholding by SC or SPR and with a headcount of not more than 200 employees or an annual sales turnover that is not more than S$100 million.

Non-SMEs are eligible for up to 70% subsidy of mentorship project, capped at S$30,000 per project. 

  1. Each company is only eligible for grants for up to 3 projects. 
  2. Participating companies will need to sign a declaration to affirm that they are not receiving other similar funding from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
  3. Projects need to be approved by SSG before commencement.

Cancellation/postponement

PwC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that a course is cancelled or rescheduled and the fee has been paid, PwC will refund the fee received.

Registration

Registration will close 2 weeks before the course commencement date or when the class is fully subscribed, whichever comes first.

Cancellation, deferment and withdrawal policies

The following policies and charges will apply for late notice of deferment or cancellation by participants, except for cases that can be waived based on compassionate or medical grounds.

Cancellation charges

  • More than 30 days prior to workshop commencement – No charge
  • 15 to 30 days prior to workshop commencement – 25% of full workshop fee
  • 7 to 14 days prior to workshop commencement – 50% of full workshop fee
  • Less than 7 days prior to workshop commencement – 100% of full workshop fee

Deferment

Deferment is permitted on compassionate or medical grounds. Relevant proof or documents must be submitted to substantiate the grounds. Do note that an attendance of more than 75% is a requirement to pass the course. As such, should you have a medical certificate after missing a course session, you are strongly encouraged to attend a make-up session within 60 calendar days from the course end date.

Withdrawal

There will be no refund of fees if notification for withdrawal is received after the course commenced.
