Financial Management Masterclass for SMEs (FMM)

Participants will be first introduced to an understanding of financial statements before delving deeper into the key area of raising debt and equity financing. They will understand business analysis as well as considering funding through the lens of a lender. Participants will be able to engage with a fireside chat with CFOs and other C suites.

Participants will nail the fundamental concepts of finance (Part 1) and explore funding through the lens of an investor, as well as delving deeper into access to equity capital. They will also gain understanding on investment and fund raising together with why practicing and reporting sustainability is important. In the final session, valuation and M&A experts engage with participants through a fireside chat.

Participants will nail the fundamental concepts of finance (Part 2) and delve deeper into unlocking cash through working capital management. The final afternoon covers sessions on cash forecasting and budgeting, understanding the difference between cash flow and profit, and what are some of the key warning signals in financial statements.
