Profile

Tetsuya Yamagishi is a tax partner in International and Deals Tax Group. Tetsuya Yamagishi is a tax partner in International and Deals Tax Group and foreign multinationals on various domestic and cross border M&A deals and providing international and M&A tax services such as tax due diligence, tax structuring, cross border reorganization, post-merger integration, international tax optimization over 15 years in his professional career. In addition, Tetsuya is leading the US Tax Desk at PwC Tax Japan and supporting Japanese multinationals to carry out M&A and reorganization in a tax optimized manner from both Japanese and US tax perspectives.

Tetsuya graduated from Sophia University and received a Master of Accounting (Taxation) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Japanese and US Illinois Certified Public Accountant and Licensed Tax Accountant (Zeirishi). He is bilingual in Japanese and English.
