Profile
Since joining PwC Tax Japan in 2001, Mr. Kiyomiya has worked with multinational corporations, advising them on a range of Japanese and international tax matters relating to their global businesses. In particular, he has specific expertise on the tax aspects of M&A and the reorganization of global business operations.
He was on secondment to PwC UK London office for three years (from 2006 to 2009) and was in charge of a team supporting Japanese multinationals doing business in the UK.
Before joining PwC Tax Japan, he worked at one of the major trading houses in Japan. He is a qualified Japanese Certified Public Accountant and Certified Tax Accountant.
Project Results and Achievements
- Tax advice to Japanese and non-Japanese multinationals on their M&A transactions (both inbound and outbound) including tax due diligence, tax structuring, review of transaction documents and post-acquisition integration services.
- Tax compliance services to Japanese and non-Japanese multinationals including implementation support for consolidated tax return filing, review of the tax returns and advance tax rulings.
- Extensive experience providing services to wide range of clients, including trading houses, financial institutions, private equity funds, as well as businesses in the chemical, automotive, electronic, foods and beverage, apparel and entertainment industries.
