Profile
Hironori joined the firm in 2002 and has since provided audit, accounting and risk advisory services to global companies across a wide range of industries. He led PwC Vietnam’s JBN from 2013 to 2018, providing comprehensive support to Japanese companies operating in Vietnam.
Appointed a partner in the Assurance ESG team in December 2020, he advised companies on ESG and sustainability disclosures. He worked closely with PwC member firms worldwide to provide insights into the latest global sustainability trends.
From October 2024, he was seconded to PwC UK, where he was responsible for supporting Japanese companies.
Having returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers Japan LLC in September 2026, he was appointed the Risk Assurance Leader for the Global JBN practice, and is now responsible for rolling out managed services to Japanese clients globally.
