Taka Tachibana has been providing transfer pricing consulting services since he joined the firm in February 2009 after a time working in the private sector in the automotive and supply chain industries. He has extensive experience assisting Japanese and foreign multinationals with advance pricing agreements (APAs), mutual agreement procedures, transfer pricing documentation, audit defence, development of transfer pricing policy, etc. His clients have come from a wide range of industries, including automotive, machine parts, machinery, electronic equipment/parts, home electrical appliances, chemical products, medical devices/pharmaceuticals, designer fashion brand products and other consumables. He has been involved with bilateral APAs between Japan and the US, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the UK, Romania, South Korea, China, Thailand and Singapore among others.

During his 3-year secondment in the U.S., he worked on supporting the US-based multinationals as well as the U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese multinationals from the US perspective in various projects including Global Core Documentations (GCDs), and US-Japan and US-Mexico APAs.
