Tadatoshi (Toshi) Takahashi previously led the Japan Practice Network in PwC Australia, covering the Melbourne and Adelaide offices. After that, he became the leader of the International Business Services Department as well as the Markets Leader of PwC Taiwan in 2001.

In 2009, Toshi took the role of Partner of Japanese Business Development (JBD) in Central China. Since 2011, he has been covering both Central and North China as the Japanese Business Market Leader. He provides consultation services on external and internal audits and tax services to Japanese clients developing businesses in China.

In July of 2017, Toshi was appointed as the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong SAR Japanese Business Markets Leader. Amid the rapid and dynamic development of the Chinese economy, including the continuous expansion of China’s market and active investment from China’s government, Toshi proactively drives ESG, IoT digital solutions and products, relations with Chinese government agencies, legal compliance support concerning data security laws, IPOs in China for Japanese clients and PwC China’s initiatives such as Reimagine Park in Hainan Island.
