Yoko Shionoya has been working in the Business Succession Support Division (currently the Private Business Services Division) of PwC Tax Japan, where Yoko has been consistently working on preparing corporate tax returns, individual income tax returns, inheritance tax returns and supporting business succession for middle market clients. In recent years, Yoko has also been involved in supporting family businesses, supporting the establishment of foundations and stockholding associations, and providing advisory services in the field of cross-border projects of inheritance tax. As an advisor close to the family, Yoko adepts at providing support that takes into account not only tax matters but also the family's life planning and guiding the family to a comfortable and secure tax settlement.
Joined then PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax Japan in 2001. From 2013 to 2014, Yoko was seconded to a major financial institution in Japan.
