Mami is a tax partner of the Private Business Services of PwC Tax Japan.
Since joining the firm, she has been providing a wide range of tax consulting and compliance services for domestic and foreign corporations, including financial institutions.
Currently, she provides succession planning services to family-owned corporations, entrepreneurs and high-net worth individuals from Japanese inheritance tax, gift tax and income tax perspectives. She is experienced in cross-border international succession planning and tax planning. As the leader of PwC NextGen Japan, she has been engaged in efforts to provide comprehensive support to next generations of business leaders including entrepreneurs who have succeeded the business and candidates of the CEO.
