Summary of expertise
He engaged in concession system design as an assistant counsellor at the PPP/PFI Promotion Office of the Cabinet Office of Japan. He has experience of working with the Accounting Standards Board of Japan (ASBJ) and the National Tax Agency to establish financial accounting and corporate tax treatment for airport and water/sewerage concessions.
In his current role, he leads numerous projects as a public-sector advisor for PPP/PFI initiatives involving cultural and educational facilities (including museums and art galleries) and large-scale parks. He also has extensive experience in supporting the establishment of public corporations and assisting with their management strategy and organisational restructuring.
