Profile
Jun Takashima joined our Tokyo office in 1996. He was then seconded to PwC UK‘s London office and PwC Thailand’s Bangkok office, where he was in charge of cross border transactions, M&A, the establishment of regional headquarters and more. He has formed a specialised team to support the establishment of tax governance frameworks and the strengthening of tax functions for Japanese companies.
He is a Japanese Certified Public Accountant and Japanese Licensed Tax Accountant, as well as a member of the Japan Tax Association’s working group on international taxation related to overseas corporate reorganisation and working group on Japanese CFC taxation.
Project Results and Achievements
Mr. Takashima has been providing corporate tax advice mainly to large multi-national western and Japanese companies for M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations, and cross-border transactions. He is actively involved in tax acquisition structuring, tax due diligence, post-acquisition integration and divestiture planning. His main clients are trading, chemical, electronic, high-tech, and infrastructure companies.
