Summary of professional experience
Since 2006, Kazunori Aoki has been providing tax compliance and consulting services to domestic and foreign financial institutions, leasing companies, insurance companies and listed and private Japanese real estate investment trusts (JREITs) including tax due diligence services. He also provides tax consulting services on tax solar projects for both domestic and offshore investors.
From September 2012 to October 2014, he was seconded to PwC Singapore, where, as a member of the Japan Tax Desk, he provided tax advisory services for cross border investments and the establishment of subsidiaries in Singapore.
He is currently the responsible partner in charge of financial services tax for Japan on the APAC/Oceania JBN (Japanese Business Network) Tax team.
