Corporate responsibility is embedded both in what PwC Vietnam does and in the role we play in influencing and engaging others. At PwC Vietnam, we believe in being part of the global movement towards responsible business practices that create positive change in the world.
PwC Vietnam approaches corporate responsibility from the four quadrants of Community, Environment, Workplace and Marketplace:
We focus on poverty alleviation, sustainability and capacity building in our support of the community. Our flagship efforts include support for volunteer organisations as well as direct partnerships with others. PwC Vietnam professionals regularly participate in charity sports events, blood donations and other initiatives.
We invest in the growth and development of our people. In supporting and developing our diverse talents, our people initiatives include leadership development programmes, secondments, technical and soft skills training and recognising and rewarding excellence in our strive to make PwC Vietnam a great place to work.
We pledge to minimise our impact on the environment. We continue to stay focused on two of the firm’s biggest generators of waste - paper and energy - as part of our “Go Green” initiatives.
We stand for responsible business practices. We will continue to proactively raise awareness and collaborate with other stakeholders on topical business issues such as Corporate Governance, Financial Reporting Standards and Corporate Responsibility.
