Background:

Nopajaree is a Tax Associate Partner in the Financial Services team of PwC. She started her career with PwC in 2004 and now possesses 19 strong years of experience in taxation, specialising in the financial services (FS) industry.  

Nopajaree provides a wide range of tax consulting services to both FS and non-FS clients, including consulting on the tax implications of local and cross-border investments, mergers and acquisitions and tax structuring work. She has also carried out tax compliance reviews and tax due diligence as well as assisted her clients in dealing with the Thai Revenue Department. As a result of her expertise, she has earned an esteemed foreign bank’s trust to perform all the tax functions for its Thailand branch for many consecutive years and has also led her team in various M&A deals of financial institutions in Thailand. 

In addition, Nopajaree has been involved in many important projects in the FS industry, including preparing tax manuals for general insurance and life insurance businesses and assisting the Thai Life Assurance Association in a project relating to insurance reserves.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (International Programme) with First Class Honors (Gold medal), Thammasat University 
• Bachelor’s degree in Law with Second Class Honors, Thammasat University 
• Master’s degree in Marketing (International Programme) with merit, Thammasat University
