An update on AI for Non-Executive Directors

We were excited to host detailed sessions in Guernsey and Jersey on the fast-changing world of AI and what it means for boards operating within today’s complex regulatory and risk environment. The discussions considered how organisations can responsibly adopt AI with solid governance, oversight, and accountability, while also highlighting the increasing links between AI, cyber security, and operational resilience.

Our team shared practical insights on a range of topics that are relevant to organisations in Guernsey and Jersey. Subject matter experts from PwC CI - Chris Eaton, CTO Advisory and Callum McCutcheon, Director - lead focused sessions discussing the governance implications of AI and the risks and responsibilities that boards must carefully manage. The sessions outlined specific challenges that Non-Executive Directors and C-Suite Directors need to be aware of as they fulfil their oversight role, identify relevant risks and suggest practical steps to enhance effective oversight in a rapidly evolving environment.

These interactive events also provided an opportunity to exchange views and experiences with peers from across the industry.
