Technical update for NEDs and Audit Committee members 2026
We hosted our Channel Islands Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) events in Jersey and Guernsey. This flagship PwC technical update was for NEDs looking to keep up to date on the latest hot topics in corporate reporting before the 2025/2026 reporting season kicks off.
The events featured focused, tailored sessions led by subject matter experts from PwC UK. There was also an excellent opportunity to network and collaborate with other members of the local NED community and included panel discussions on corporate governance and board effectiveness.
Overview agenda
The sessions examined the implications of the most significant recent developments in governance, corporate reporting and technical accounting, including sustainability and climate change, as well as the following topics relevant to the audit committee agenda:
- Update on the latest UK GAAP and IFRS developments
- FRC and FCA developments and areas of focus
- Feedback from the latest PwC reviews of FTSE 350 reporting
- Update on UK regulatory reform
