As part of Guernsey Sustainable Finance Week’s private equity day, PwC Channel Islands are delighted to bring you our latest insight into the opportunity and implications for private equity when considering climate change. Based on our work with private equity clients around the world, hear our view on how responses to climate change are developing in the sector, see practical examples of tools and approaches for both risk mitigation and value creation, and join the discussion about what a net-zero future could mean for the private equity value chain. Featuring specialists from PwC UK’s Sustainability & Climate Change practice, this virtual session is targeted at those working in the private equity industry, but all are very welcome.
Nicky is a Director in PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change team specialising in ESG in private equity . With 19 years’ experience in sustainability consulting, Nicky has a deep technical knowledge of sustainability issues and their importance within the responsible investment context. Nicky sits on the Responsible Investment Advisory Group of the BVCA.
Leanne is an Assistant Director in PwC’s Sustainability & Climate Change team, specialising in sustainable finance, ESG, climate strategy and TCFD. Leanne works with her financial sector clients to develop strategies to better understand ESG and climate risks and unlock value from the transition to a net zero carbon, sustainable economy. Leanne has a multi-industry finance background including 15 years experience in banking and 5 years in sustainable finance and climate change.
Ali Cambray is the PwC Channel Islands ESG and climate change specialist. Based in Jersey, she has 20 years’ experience working with governments and businesses around the world on integrating climate change into strategy and decision-making.
Originally from South Africa, Amy is an Assurance Senior Manager based at PwC in Guernsey since 2014. Her key focus is on Private Equity and Listed Funds.
