Barret Kupelian

Chief Economist, PwC UK

Barret is PwC UK's Chief Economist. Barret’s expertise lies in translating economics to a business audience so that they make better, more-informed decisions.  He has extensive experience applying economic theory and tools in business situations and for governments ranging from macroeconomic thought leadership to scenario design and policy development. Barret also runs PwC’s macroeconomics thought leadership programme shaping the firm’s view on economic events and trends—his views have been reproduced across the world including on the front page of the New York Times, the Financial Times, Bloomberg the BBC and other media outlets.  Barret is also a Chartered Accountant.

Paul Tostevin

Director and Head of World Research, Savills

Paul is a Director and Head of Savills World Research, based in London. Working across all property sectors Paul delivers market-leading research on global real estate markets and the international forces that shape them. Paul is the lead director of Impacts, Savills flagship global, cross-sector, research programme, assessing how economic, environmental, demographic and technological change are shaping global real estate markets today and in the years to come. His other areas of focus include the competitiveness of world cities, trends in the global residential, office and industrial sectors, as well as the role of cities in the global tech industry. A commentator in national and international press, Paul regularly presents at industry events both in the UK and abroad.

Will Leighton

AI & Modelling Director, PwC UK

Will is a Director in PwC’s market-leading AI & Modelling practice, with deep experience advising Real Estate clients on data- and AI-led transformation and monetisation. He works closely with asset owners and managers to design and deliver strategies and innovative AI-driven solutions that unlock tangible value for owners, tenants, and partners. Will leads PwC’s global Places Insights product, which brings together transaction- and interaction-level data across entire districts to create unique insights and data monetisation opportunities.

Melinda Knatchbull

Chief Financial Officer, Earls Court Development Company

Mel joined ECDC as Chief Financial Officer in 2025. She has over 25 years’ experience as CFO and COO in the real estate investment management sector, growing and scaling real estate investment companies by ensuring the right strategy, structure, governance, infrastructure, and processes are in place to form strong foundations to support strong investment pipeline and growth. Mel has worked with a wide range of investors and is experienced at pitching, presenting and servicing the requirements of institutional investors. Mel has firsthand experience across a wide range of financial aspects, has led technology strategy, ESG strategy and operational model implementation, and has extensive experience of regulatory, legal, and tax aspects. She is an experienced director and chair of board committees.

Lindsay Wood

Chief Executive Officer, Andium Homes

Lindsay has been CEO of Andium Homes since April 2025, leading Jersey’s largest provider of affordable housing. She was formerly the Chief Finance and Operations Officer. A Chartered Accountant, Lindsay played a pivotal role in Andium’s formation in 2014 and has overseen the delivery of more than 1,200 new homes for Islanders. Most notably, she secured Jersey’s first Social Private Placement, a landmark transaction in a Crown Dependency, unlocking capital for 250 new family homes now under construction. Her career spans roles in finance and operations, including at PwC and Ernst & Young across Manchester, Bermuda, and Jersey. She is passionate about creating sustainable communities and improving housing opportunities for Islanders. Lindsay has lived in Jersey since 2007 with her husband and two daughters.

Richard Ford

Partner, Pinsent Masons LLP

Richard Ford is a Partner at Pinsent Masons LLP, based in London and works across the UK and globally. He specialises in built environment planning and digital delivery including Smart Cities and Campuses and data monetisation as well as operational efficiency. He has been working with PWC’s data monetisation team, as well as Digital Jersey and some Jersey Trustee companies on the Jersey Data Store and Data Trust opportunity, as well as capitalising on the Jersey Smart Island programme. He advises on Smart Real Estate campuses for Prop Cos and Local Governments, Smart Sports Campuses, Airport Campuses, University Campuses, Ports Campuses globally.

Jo Cox

Real Estate Tax Partner, PwC UK

Jo is a Real Estate Partner at PwC UK with 20 years’ experience helping investors, developers and asset owners turn complex real estate into value‑creating platforms. Her core expertise is UK and international real estate tax – structuring investments, platforms and co‑investments (including REITs), and advising on high‑profile, complex transactions. She is known for cutting through noise in deals and focusing on what really matters commercially.

Prior to joining PwC in 2018, Jo spent 13 years at The British Land Company PLC, a listed property company and UK REIT where latterly she was responsible for tax structuring and execution of corporate and property transactions.

A big focus for her now is how data and digital change the economics of place – and how we monetise data responsibly:

• Treating place‑based data as an asset in its own right, not just a by‑product
• Designing tax and legal structures that support new, data‑enabled revenue streams
• Helping multi‑stakeholer districts share and monetise data safely, with clear governance

Jo works across sectors – offices, living, logistics, data centres, retail, tourism, health and mixed‑use regeneration – and collaborate with PwC’s 500+ UK built‑environment specialists and our global real estate network in 150+ countries.
