New personal income tax expert to bolster PwC Hungary’s tax advisory practice

PwC Hungary has appointed Dr. Péter Honyek (37) as a senior manager in the personal income tax and social security consulting group. An experienced lawyer, Dr. Honyek joined the firm on 14 April 2014.

He has extensive experience in tax matters, including personal income tax and the avoidance of double taxation. Before joining PwC, he worked as a specialist and spokesman for tax matters at the National Tax and Customs Authority. In 2012, he was appointed as head of the Ministry for National Economy’s Department of Personal Income Tax and Contributions Regulation. He has joined PwC Hungary to embark on a career in consulting.

PwC Hungary’s personal income tax and social security consulting group provides advice on administrative obligations related to personal income tax and contributions, including preparing calculations and returns, representation before the tax authority, and assistance during wealth investigations. The group also offers advice and other complex services related to the employment and residence of foreign nationals.
