Simon Gealy appointed as PwC Thailand Consulting Leader

BANGKOK, 27 November 2025 – Effective 27 November 2025, Simon Gealy, CEO of PwC South East Asia Consulting, will take on the role of Consulting Lead Partner for PwC Thailand. He will succeed Vilaiporn Taweelappontong, who has served as the practice leader for the Thailand firm from 2013 to 2025.

Simon brings with him nearly four decades of expertise in financial services consulting. Based in Thailand since 2021, he has served as CEO of PwC South East Asia Consulting and has overseen 2,000 professionals across six countries since 2020.

Simon was admitted as a Partner in New York in 1999 and has held several leadership roles, including the New York Metro Deals Leader and PwC Japan Financial Services Leader. He has advised major banks on regulatory, technology, and strategic initiatives, and continues to bring deep regional and global insight to his role.
