BANGKOK, 3 November 2020 – On 29 October, Chanchai Chaiprasit, CEO for PwC Thailand (3rd from the right), together with Paiboon Tunkoon, Assurance Partner and Corporate Responsibility Leader (2nd from the right) and Assurance Partner Rodjanart Banyatananusard (1st from the right) presented a cheque worth THB330,000 to M.L. Dispanadda Diskul, CEO of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage (3rd from the left), to support the “You care for the forest, we care for you” project operated by the Thailand Responsible Business Network (TRBN).
The project’s key objective is aimed at lowering greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions under the clean development mechanism and promoting the sustainability of forest conservation and nearby community areas in Thailand. PwC Thailand will receive carbon credit from the project within six years.
This support is also part of PwC Thailand’s broader effort to meet its global network’s commitment to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
