The webinar will be held in English on 15 December 2021, 2–3pm (Bangkok time) and will include guest speakers from our regional team to share their experiences and insight on classification issues and challenges.

 

What we’ll cover

The webinar will focus on classification issues and challenges our clients struggle with around the region with a particular focus on 5 countries; Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. During the session we will also discuss what to expect from the upcoming Harmonised System (HS) 2022 edition (HS 2022).

Specifically our session will cover:

  • the classification issues and challenges we see in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines
  • how to manage or mitigate risks in case you have classification disputes with Customs
  • how to best prepare for Customs challenges and mitigate potential classification risks
  • what to expect from the upcoming HS 2022 - an introduction to the new HS edition, how to prepare for it, and how it may affect your customs and trade operations
  • relevant experience sharing, together with questions and answers.

This webinar is designed for executives and operational staff working in import and export, procurement, supply chain and/or logistics. It’s especially suitable for those with responsibility for customs and trade compliance and/or work closely with Customs and brokers to declare HS codes.
