Ruth is an Assurance Partner and a Methodology Partner of PwC Philippines. Ruth specializes in providing assurance and advisory services to companies in the Financial Services sector, in particular those in the banking and capital markets, securities broker dealer, insurance and investment management. She is also currently leading the audits for several financial institutions in Brunei.
Ruth gained extensive international exposure from her 26-month posting in PwC Australia that allowed her to further hone her expertise in financial services industry by leading a number of external and internal audit engagements for multinational companies.
Ruth graduated at the top of her class (Rector’s Awardee/Class Valedictorian and Magna Cum Laude) with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas. She placed 14th on the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination. For further studies, Ruth completed the Building Value Course in Ateneo Graduate School of Business in June 2014, and the 89th Management Development Program in Asian Institute of Management in December 2015 with a Superior Performance Award.
