Rick has been with the firm for over 30 years and has been Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC Philippines since July 2021, during which time he cemented the firm’s status as a trusted advisor and auditor of the country’s largest companies. Under his leadership, PwC Philippines achieved over 60% workforce growth and gained substantial growth and scale of service offerings in its regional footprints in Davao, Iloilo, and Cebu.
Rick brings deep technical expertise in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) audits, and has led numerous financial due diligence engagements for mergers and acquisitions (M&A). His global experience includes a three-year tenure at PwC’s London and Silicon Valley offices, where he managed audits of listed telecommunications and media companies. A sought-after speaker in various fora and congregations, Rick has completed advanced leadership programs at INSEAD, the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), and PwC’s Reinventing the Future initiative, reinforcing his strategic but wholly grounded vision for the firm.
