㈜LG의 LG CNS 지분 매각을 위한 실사자문
PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team은 ㈜LG의 LG CNS 지분 일부를 매각하는 딜에서 회계자문사로 참여하였습니다.
LG CNS는 ㈜LG의 시스템통합(SI) 계열사로 IT 컨설팅, 시스템 구축 및 운영, 아웃소싱 등 토탈 IT 솔루션 제공 회사로, 클라우드, AI, 블록 체인, 빅테이터 등의 신기술과 스마트팩토리, 스마트시티와 같은 자체 개발 플랫폼을 바탕으로 국내 IT 서비스 시장을 이끌고 있습니다.
본건 인수 주체인 맥쿼리PE는 다수의 글로벌 IT 기업 투자 경험으로 풍부한 해외 네트워크를 갖추고 있으며, 스마트 물류, 인프라, 부동산 투자에 강점이 있는 운용사입니다.
맥쿼리PE는 이번 딜로 ㈜LG에 이어 LG CNS의 2대 주주에 오르게 되었습니다.
PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team은 본건 딜에서 매도인측 회계자문사로 참여하여 매도자 실사 및 재무자문 업무를 수행하였습니다.
동 자문업무는 Transaction Service team의 박대준 Partner, 최창대 Partner가 담당하였습니다.
PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team is pleased to announce the sale of LG CNS Co., Ltd.'s shares in LG Group to Macquarie PE.
LG CNS Co., Ltd., a System Integration(SI) affiliate of LG Group, provides total IT solution such as IT consulting, construction and operation of system and outsourcing.
LG CNS Co., Ltd. has been leading the IT service market in Korea based on new technology such as cloud, AI, block chain and big data, and its in-house development platforms such as smart factory and smart city.
The buyer, Macquarie PE, has a strong overseas network with various experiences in global IT investments and has strengths in investments which involve smart logistics, infrastructure and real estate.
Macquarie PE is now the second largest shareholder of LG CNS Co., Ltd. after LG Corp.
The PwC Korea Deals Transaction Service team, led by Dae-Joon Park and Chang-Dae Choi, provided M&A advisory service for LG Group and successfully closed the transaction.
