Senior Associate

Gunta is a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, practicing law for more than 12 years.
Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal Gunta worked at one of the leading confectionery and snack companies in the Baltic States, providing day-to-day legal assistance to the management board. Therefore, Gunta has acquired the extensive knowledge on legal issues relevant to private sector, as commercial matters, ensuring various Mergers & Acquisition projects and reorganisation projects successful outcome, as well as dealing with challenging employment issues and competition regulation matters.
Currently Gunta continues to gain an in-depth insight into anti-money laundering matters and data protection issues.
Prior to work in private sector, Gunta gained essential experience in the Administrative District Court of the Republic of Latvia as a judge’s assistant, thus expanding knowledge and skills into administrative proceedings.
Gunta has obtained the professional master’s degree from the University of Latvia, Faculty of Law.
