.Marcus is the Executive Chairman of PwC Singapore and he is with the firm for more than 25 years. Marcus has many years of professional experience providing audit and advisory and consulting services to listed companies, multinational corporations and government agencies across different industries and sectors in Singapore.

Outside of PwC, Marcus is active in the non-profit sectors, he is the Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Polytechnic Board of Governors, the Chairman of the Edusave Advisory Council under the Ministry of Education, a Board Member of LASALLE College of the Arts, Chairman of the Alumni Advisory Board of Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. A member of Accounting Advisory Board of the National University of Singapore. He is a Board Member of the Defence Science and Technology Agency and a Council Member and Honorary Treasurer of Singapore National Employers Federation and Chairman of Audit Committee of the Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute. He is a Director of the Singapore Business Federation Foundation Limited and a Deputy Honorary Treasurer and Member of Singapore Business Federation Council. He is a Director and Chairman of Finance Committee of the Tripartite Alliance Limited.

Mr Lam holds a First Class (Honours) Accountancy degree from the Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a practicing member of ISCA and a member of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA).  

Tan Choon Hong joined GIC in March 2022 as the Head, Direct Investments Group, Developed and Southeast Asia, Private Equity. He is currently a board member of Traveloka,Metro Pacific Health, Works Human Intelligence and Sazaby League.

Choon Hong was previously at Northstar Group from 2011 to 2022, where he served as a Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer. From 2007 to 2011, Choon Hong was a Director (Special Projects), at CS Partners, a multi-family office, responsible for direct investments across Southeast Asia. He also previously held positions in GIC as Vice President (Special Investments) and Deutsche Bank as Associate (Corporate Finance).

Choon Hong holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Engineering from University of Cambridge, and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Clarence Chua leads the Planning division at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) which oversees its long-term strategy and performance management as Singapore’s lead economic development agency. He is also Head for Japan and Korea region.

After graduating from the University of Tokyo with a Bachelor of Economics, he worked in EDB’s International Policies and Electronics divisions. From 2008 to 2013, Clarence was based in Japan, managing EDB’s operations in Japan and Korea. Upon his return to Singapore, he was appointed as Director for EDB’s Corporate Planning division. He oversaw the development of the Professional Services cluster from 2015-2018 and Hub Services strategy from 2018-2019, followed by the Strategic Planning division in 2019-20. He was Director Strategic Planning Division in the Ministry of Communications and Information in 2020-22. In 2022-25, he headed EDB’s Business Environment division responsible for policies related to incentives and trade.

Mr. Goushi Kataoka was appointed as the Chief Economist of PwC Consulting LLC in Japan in August 2022. He has served as a Senior Executive Officer at PwC Consulting LLC since July 2024.

Since November 2025, he has been a member of the Expert Committee of the Japan Growth Strategy Council. Furthermore, since March 2026, he has been a member of the Expert Committee of the National Social Security Council (Takaichi administration).

Prior to joining PwC, Mr. Kataoka served as a member of the Policy Board of the Bank of Japan from July 2017 to July 2022.

He joined Sanwa Research Institute after he received his bachelors from Business and Commerce at Keio University in 1996.

Mr. Kataoka holds an M.A. in Econometrics from the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, Keio University (2001), and also brings a wealth of knowledge in applied econometrics, macroeconomics and theory of economic policy.

Mr Jimmy Koh currently leads Network Partnership and Strategic Marketing at Group FDI Advisory. His main role is to identify, cultivate, and establish partnership with local and overseas eco-system partners to provide leads for organization exploring to set up operations in ASEAN. He also leads the strategic marketing team, provide direction and editorial guidance to profile FDI advisory initiatives in Southeast Asia.

Prior to this, Mr Koh led the brand, external and internal communications, social media and insights teams to raise the profile of the Bank through an integrated communications approach. He also oversees the Group’s CSR and Art Programme initiatives.

Between 2019 to 2021, Mr Koh was the Chief Commercialisation Officer at TMRW, responsible for driving digital group strategy, business growth and market share across ASEAN, focusing on scaling and commercialising TMRW's strategic objectives and anchoring TMRW partnership, digital sales, usage, data analytics and strategy.

Between 2016 to 2019, Mr Koh was part of Group Wholesale Banking/Sector Solutions Group, where he headed the Business Insights and Analytics team, developing sector specific solutions by leveraging on Data Analytics and Industry Insights across 6 broad industry groups, across key ASEAN- Greater China markets.

From 2000 to 2016, Mr Koh anchored the UOB Macro‐Economic and Markets Research, where he led a team of macro economists, FX and rates strategies for both asset and liabilities management. He represented UOB in regular interviews with major financial media such as Channel NewsAsia, CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Shanghai Yicai Media Group, local radio and television stations (both in English and Mandarin).

He also led UOB’s Investor Relations/Credit Rating team and was responsible for leading group communications with institutional investors/research analysts (debt and equity), developing clear and consistent communication on results earnings, operating environment and group strategy and initiatives to stakeholders as well as organising and representing UOB in various road shows (debt and equity), conferences with analysts/investors around the world. He also led investor communications process for corporate development, capital management and fund-raising exercises.

Mr Koh has more than 20 years in banking and global markets research and business experience.
 

Khong Shoong joined NCS as Chief Financial Officer in October 2024. As CFO, he oversees NCS core finance functions (finance business partnering, management reporting and statutory reporting), M&A and post-merger integration.

Prior to joining NCS, Khong Shoong spent 15 years in various senior leadership positions with Frasers Property Limited, including as Group Chief Corporate Officer as well as Group Chief Financial Officer. Before Frasers Property, Khong Shoong was an investment banker with Schroders, Salomon Smith Barney, Citigroup and HSBC where he worked on M&A and capital raisings for clients in Southeast Asia, Europe and North America.

Khong Shoong has a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class) from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University.

Masataka Kubota joined PW Japan in 1997. He was admitted as partner in 2013 and become Assurance Leader, PwC Aarata in 2019. He was seconded for two years and 6 months to PwC US Chicago office and engaged in the audit and various advisory services to regional head quarter for Japanese multinational companies.

After returning to Japan, he mainly worked for audit and advisory services such as accounting, internal control, governance, post- merger integration etc, to Japanese multi-national companies. since 2016, he was leading the development and implementation of AI and digital tools to assurance practice.

Since 2020, he was admitted as deputy CEO, PricewaterhouseCoopers Japan LLC, and joined as a member of Japan Leadership Team.

Since 2024, he is leading PwC Japan Group as a chairman and senior partner, PwC Japan LLC as a chief executive officer and chair and PricewaterhouseCoopers Japan LLC as Chief Executive Officer.

Tomoyuki Nishida is a senior executive of Mitsubishi Corporation with more than 30 years of leadership experience in retail, consumer, distribution, and new business development across Asia.

He currently serves in Singapore as Deputy Chief Regional Officer for Asia & Oceania, covering 18 countries and 34 locations while supporting regional management, governance and incubation of new business opportunities.

Immediately prior to his current role, Mr Nishida was COO of the Retail Division at Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo, where he oversaw the company’s major retail and consumer investments including Lawson, Seijo Ishii, Life Corporation, OK Corporation, Ponta and TMN. In that capacity, he played a central role in the privatization of Lawson through a 500 billion JPY(3.5 billion USD) tender offer led by KDDI, one of the most significant strategic transactions in the Japanese retail sector in recent years.

Mr Nishida also brings extensive on-the-ground management experience from Indonesia, where he spent eight years in senior executive positions. He served for three years as President Director of PT Nissin Foods Indonesia, leading a full turnaround of the business through restructuring, reinvestment, brand renewal, and distribution rebuilding. He then spent five years as President Director of PT MC Living Essentials Indonesia, the holding company overseeing approximately 20 retail, consumer, and manufacturing-related portfolio companies, while also driving new business development and M&A.

Earlier in his career, he was seconded to Daiso Industries as Senior Managing Director, where he supported the company’s globalization and modernization agenda, including talent strategy, organizational systems, logistics reform, overseas expansion, and supplier development. He also led the launch of a convenience store joint venture in the Philippines with one of the country’s leading conglomerates, serving as the resident top executive from inception and building the business into the country’s second-largest convenience store chain.

Tze Wee is a Partner of the M&A Strategy & Operations Practice PwC Singapore. He has more than 19 years of experience in advising and assisting clients on Deal & Non-Deal related Business Transformation initiatives across various industries, including Operational reviews improvement, Post Merger Integration & Divesture.

In assisting his clients to plan for/deploy these growth strategies, Tze Wee has led engagements to evaluate the various operational aspects that would best achieve the client’s strategic intent and desired outcome of the growth strategy, including defining the business/operating model, the organisational structure, human capital and competencies, supporting business functions/processes and informational technology.

On initiatives relating to Mergers & Acquisitions, Tze Wee has led engagements which involved advising clients on specific issues related to the business entities/functions post-merger/acquisition integration, including business strategy, business and operating model definition, organisational design and business processes, information systems, human resource and change management.
